CLASS DESCRIPTION
My lessons aim to transfer the joy of music, develop musical imagination and creativity together with the gradual improvement of technic according to age and individual dispositions so that playing an instrument is a musical experience and pleasure for all.

Having a Master's Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy, I give my courses not as a side-activity but as a profession. I believe that effective teaching brings responsibility and requires educational background and commitment. This is what pedagogy is for and why many educational institutions require it because being a great pianist doesn't necessarily mean being good at also teaching.

ABOUT ME
Bohuslava was born in 1997 to a musical family. She started playing piano at the age of five. Later on she started taking also singing lessons. In both disciplines, she has won numerous national and international competitions. She has performed on piano with the Brno Philharmonic Orchestra and the Moravia Philharmonic Orchestra. As a singer, she has appeared as a soloist with the Brno Philharmonic, with the Moravian Theatre Orchestra Olomouc and also as a soloist with the Brno Philharmonic Choir. Recently she has recorded solo piano pieces for Czech radio, besides that she also participated as a piano and vocal soloist in Brno doublebass orchestra CD recording.

2010-2013: Piano lessons at Youth Academy of Joseph Haydn Conservatory in Eisenstadt (Austria)
2013-2017: Singing at Brno Conservatory
2016-2019: Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance at Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno (Czech Republic)
2017-2018: Erasmus Exchange at Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music
2019-2021: Master degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy at Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno
2021-2023: Masters in piano at Koninklijik Conservatory of Brussels
